FAQ

How do you deliver photos?

After your session I curate a preview gallery for you. I take the best of the best snapshots from your session to create a preview gallery for you to choose your favorites.

What if I love more photos than what's in my package?

It's very common to love more! You can always add more images to your favorites list to be delivered with your final gallery. There is a small fee of $25/image.

How should we dress for our family session?

I try to tell clients to coordinate their wardrobe for family photos. I recommend finding a color pallet and letting each person choose! I have sample pallets and a clothing coordination guide if you'd like some assistance with this, all you have to do is ask!

We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?

100% OK! I will gently guide you for any and all posed portraits. Most of my candid shots are also a variation from a posed portrait. So, you'll be good to go!

How soon will I get my photos?

For family sessions, I like to have a pretty quick turnaround time. Typically, I like to have your preview gallery to you within 3 business days. Once you let me know your favorites list is complete, I will start the editing process. From here, it will be 1 to 2 weeks until final gallery delivery.

What’s the best time to have a session on the beach?

I shoot beach sessions exclusively during golden hour. It is hands down the best, most flattering light! AM and PM sessions are always an option.

What happens if there's rain or bad weather?

Before your session, I watch the weather very closely. In the event there is a rain or wind above 15mph, I communicate all of that. In the event of rain, there is a chance we can pivot and move the session time before the rain hits. Otherwise, we can reschedule for another day. Same goes for wind!

What is your photography style or approach?

My photography style a blend of documentary, editorial, sometimes cinematic, and always true to color. I love creating images that evoke the feeling of the moment all over again. I often feel like these moments should be preserved in a way you fondly remember a dream. I want to create images that pass the test of time and are the greatest way to preserve your family legacy. Heirlooms you pass to generations to come.
